Dear Rob & Scout,

Like you and many others, we have seen Mount Pleasant (Roachside Cottage's original name) deteriorate and it looked in a very sorry state, but look at her now!

You have made my Mum's and Auntie Kay's dream come true, to walk around this wonderful place was amazing. A beautiful, warm, cosy, very clean place to call home, if only for a little while.

Thanks for sharing your home with us and helping make some more memories to treasure.

Thank you! Great location - everything required is here. The bath vista is to die for!! Thank you again, great stay

Thank you to Rob & Scout for allowing us the pleasure of staying at Roachside Cottage.

The cottage is beautiful, cosy and immaculately clean. The extra touches such as the oatcakes made it all the more special.

We've had a lovely time relaxing and exploring the local area. Food at The Lazy Trout after a long walk did not disappoint and we welcomed the 9pm visit from the ice-cream van!! We hope to visit again soon.

Dear Rob, What a wonderful week we three cousins have had here. Great location, house and views and don't miss the sunset. We toured and visited; Ashbourne, Chatsworth House, Lyme Park, Biddulph Grange Garden, David Mellor & Emma Bridgewater Design Studio, too many tea shops and restaurants! Hope to see you and Scout again soon. Marie, Marie and Ann
Staying at Roachside Cottage for two nights after our wedding has been so lovely. The views are amazing and have helped us relax after a full-on few days! We really enjoyed trying the oatcakes and seeing all the thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. We'd love to come again and stay for longer and hopefully we'll find it and don't have to wake you up at 02.00 am! (Thanks so much for helping us Rob!)
